The Story Behind the Label

Josh Tolen bought this company in 2017. Packed it up from Oklahoma. Moved it to a garage in Lizton, Indiana. He's a disabled Marine Corps veteran with a day job — and he still hand-pours every single batch himself.

No warehouse. No fulfillment center. No team of people in matching shirts. Just a veteran who built something real and refuses to let it be anything less than that.

What Bedlam Is

This isn't a pretty-boy brand. There are no perfect studio shots here, no influencer faces, no algorithm-chasing content strategy. Bedlam is for the guy who's been up since 5am, has grease under his nails by noon, and still shows up looking intentional at the end of the day.

Anti-establishment. Veteran-forged. Built for bikers, tradesmen, veterans, barbers, and every misfit who doesn't fit the mold the grooming industry tried to sell them.

Stay Rugged. Stay Bedlam.

The Characters

Every SKU is a character. GHOST. BUTCHER. SNAKE. TR3Y. DUKE. These aren't just scent labels — they're identities. Each one has a personality, a vibe, a story. When you pick your scent, you're picking your character. That's not an accident.

Small batches mean every run matters. When GHOST sells out, it's gone until Josh pours the next batch. That's not a supply chain problem — that's the point.

Certified. Earned. Not Borrowed.

Bedlam Beard Co. is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and SBA Veteran-Owned. Josh earned these certifications the hard way — through service, sacrifice, and a disability he carries every day. When you buy from Bedlam, you're buying from a veteran who's still putting in the work.

More than grooming. This is the world behind Bedlam.
